Section 01
We collect the information you provide when creating a profile — name, contact details, date of birth, sect, community, profession, photos, and a short bio. We also collect basic device and usage information to keep the platform safe.
Section 02
Your information is used to verify your profile, suggest respectful matches, enable communication you have approved, and protect the community from misuse. We do not sell your data to third parties — ever.
Section 03
By default, your photos and contact details are hidden from other members. You decide who can see them, and you can revoke access at any time. Watermarking and screenshot protection are applied where supported by your device.
Section 04
We share information only with our trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, email, SMS, payment processors) under strict confidentiality. We may disclose data when required by law or to prevent harm to a member.
Section 05
We use minimal cookies needed to keep you signed in and to understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. You can clear cookies any time from your browser settings.
Section 06
We retain your profile data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile and photos are removed from the public platform within 30 days, with limited backup data retained for legal and safety reasons.
Section 07
You may access, correct, download, or delete your personal information at any time from your dashboard. For requests that cannot be completed in-app, write to care@umeedmilap.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Section 08
We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, manual profile verification, and continuous monitoring to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Section 09
UmeedMilap is intended only for adults of legal marriageable age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn a profile belongs to a minor, it will be removed immediately.
Section 10
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of UmeedMilap after a change indicates your acceptance.
