Section 01
Introduction
In Pakistan, many young people quietly know exactly who they want to marry — a classmate, a colleague, a friend of the family — but never find the courage to tell their parents. Others say it badly, provoke a fight, and lose the rishta altogether. Islam allows children to express preference in marriage; it does not require them to marry someone their heart cannot accept. The bridge is a respectful, well-timed conversation. This guide is written to help you build that bridge without hurting anyone.
